I wanted to work closely with doctors, but not in a medical degree. Kodakco’s Medical Scribing program was right for me. My trainer had many years of experience in training scribes for U.S. hospitals. He taught us to get the most use out of medical terminologies and transcription accuracy, as well as ethical ways of patient interaction. I enrolled in Kodakco’s Medical Scribing Course because of the U.S. job placement reported by its graduates. Dr Ganesh Reddy is a licensed scribe trainer who taught us real-time documentation with physicians, EMR systems and HIPAA laws. We practised listening to doctor dictations and making the proper medical charts. It also covered anatomy, medical terms and speed-building transcription. You can see us describe it yet again, but all of our scribing was live, and we were regularly assessed in real time by some digital expert. Post the course, I passed my scribe certification and began working remotely with a US hospital chain.
